About TLC Childcare and School
This is the TLC Childcare and School Program of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, where children are loved and adored and are our first priority!

TLC encourages families to participate in all areas of childcare and school life. With the home and school working together, each child has an opportunity to grow and develop in an atmosphere of love and joy.
Goals
- To provide a safe, loving, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to grow and acquire social skills.
- To help each family maintain their child's good health and promote physical development.
- To help each child function effectively with peers and with adults
- To help each child develop his or her cognitive abilities to the fullest
History
The TLC Childcare and School Program began in September 1988 and is owned by the First Evangelical Lutheran Church. The TLC childcare program is offered during the twelve months of each year and is licensed with the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.
The TLC Kindergarten, Pre-Kindergarten, and Preschool Educational Programs are in session nine months from September to May and are licensed with the Pennsylvania Department of Education for Private/Non-Public Schools.
TLC is also enrolled in the Keystone STARS Program and is currently a Star Level 4. TLC has earned a Stars 4 quality rating as a facility that is committed to maintaining compliance with program regulations and to enhancing quality early learning through the PA Keystone Stars program.

The mission of the TLC Childcare and School Program recognizes how crucial and important the early years of childhood are and therefore, TLC believes in inspiring children to reach their highest potential emotionally, socially, physically, and academically.
